Portsmouth Company Launches New Website for Southeast NH Habitat for Humanity

Portsmouth, NH – Website design company Vital Design has launched a new website for Southeast NH Habitat for Humanity, enabling the nonprofit organization to share news, photos, and events as well as key information on their mission of eliminating poverty housing in Southeast NH

The site, http://www.senhhabitat.org, also features an individual area for Southeast NH Habitat for Humanity's Dover ReStore which sells donated building materials and supplies. The ReStore section, http://www.senhhabitat.org/restore, allows visitors to browse inventory or to search by item categories or by specific keywords.

With an easy-to-use content management system, SENH Habitat managers can update website content on both the main SENH Habitat site and the ReStore area. The website also includes a news blog that automatically updates the Home page with fresh content and allows users to subscribe to an RSS feed to receive updates by email. Vital also integrated SENH Habitat's social media accounts into the website design.

"This new website takes us to a whole new level," said SENH Habitat Executive Director Cheryl Van Allen. "It will be easier to communicate with the families we help, as well as our supporters, volunteers, and staff. Vital Design was great to work with throughout the process and they designed a site that we can update internally, which is so key for a nonprofit like ours."

Vital Design, http://www.vtldesign.com was responsible for all Web development and website design. The website was developed for search engine optimization (SEO) and serves as an information resource for new and returning visitors as well as a branding tool for SE NH Habitat for Humanity. Vital donated a portion of website and design costs to support SENH Habitat.

"It was great to be able to create a website that allows Cheryl and her team to maximize their resources by easily making updates themselves."
